At eight pounds nine ounces and twenty-one inches long, little Yadira was signed off by the doctor and because Simone proved herself to be a true champ and did things the old-fashioned way, was given the all clear to head home with their new little bundle whenever they wanted.

Jim Farnsworth bounced his new granddaughter in his arms and beamed at her, “She has my eyes.”

“I was just going to say that.”  Simone smiled at him.

Will Taggert was tasked with heading to Seth’s and Simone’s house to retrieve the stroller slash car seat they forgot.  Luckily without a baby on board, he was able to go to posted maximum speed limit.  The elder Taggert’s were thanked beyond words by the new parents for stepping up and left to find a hat store.

Simone had already packed her clothes and baby’s first outfit, which was a simple onesie with little ducks on it.

However, the women in the room were already on it, “We have so much shopping to do.  My granddaughter is not going to be seen around town in nothing but ducks.”  Connie told them.

“Save your money!  I made lots of clothes!”  Abuela admonished them.

Simone laughed, “Of course she did.  She’s known it’s a girl from the moment she met me.”

Abuela looked quite smug and tapped the side of her nose.  She looked at her grandson and started giggling again.

“Abuela, why do you keep laughing?  What is it?”  Seth asked in a panic.

She continued to laugh and removed her knitting from her handbag.  Her great grandchild needed more pink booties.

Ricardo squeezed his son’s shoulders, “You had a girl.  She’s right, this is funny.”  He finished and started to himself.

The rock star was not amused.

Alex took him by the arms and whipped him around, “The walnut is finally here, quit with the panicking.”

“But she knows something!”

“I know, that gift of hers is really freaking spooky!”

“Finally, someone agrees with me!”
