“I thought we put this issue to bed.  And speaking of, I need to get to it.  John, is she?”  His fellow bassist asked him.

He smirked at his wife and informed the room without taking his eyes off her, “Porous is back on the list.”

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief.

She curled her finger at him and he leaned in and they kissed.

“No way guys, this may be one of our last band meetings ever, but the rules stay in place, no sucking face.”  Seth told the couple.

They couldn't give a damn.

“Alright, let’s wrap this up so Cole can get to bed.  We’ll put everything on paper when we reconvene in Tampa.”  Angela announced.

“Just my two cents here, and I pray this doesn’t start something else, but if you add Peak and Crysus to the list, I will all but guarantee potential sponsors will be wetting themselves to be a part of this.”  Doc added.

She nodded, “I was thinking along the same lines, as well as adding some unknowns.  Alright John and A.G., break it up, we have one final thing to decide on and then the conference room is all yours.”  Angela informed the couple who were still sucking face.

Hiatt gripped the table and assessed it, “I hope this thing is solid, because my brother’s weight alone could total it.”

His girl giggled next to him, “You all might lose your security deposit.”

A.G. separated their lips and said to the room, “What’s left to decide on?”

“A firm date to get back in the studio.  Are we alright with the first?”  Doc answered her.

“Cole, you good with February 1st?”  Drake asked him.

He sleepily replied, “Ja, plenty of time.  Angela, will you send the preliminary schedule to my wife so she can let Monica know?”

“You got it.  Is everyone else alright with the first?”

They all gave her the go ahead, and she proclaimed, “One month from now it is, and let me make this very clear, you will all be officially in isolation.  No appearances, no calls, no anything.  Get this album done.  No offense to John, but direct to retail is the smartest option and quickest way to number one on billboard.”

“None taken, but the option is still on the table if need be.”  He conceded with a nod.

“Thank you.  Your V.P. should handle things for you for the next few months, because I’m serious John, this thing needs to get done.  Can she step up?”

He nodded, “She’s sharp, and if I don’t have to answer emails, I’ll do anything she suggests.”  He informed and looked at Doc, “Kudos to you for her by the way.”

“Anytime.”

As Drake squirmed underneath her indicating he wanted her to make good on the dirty little sweet nothings she whispered in his ear earlier, she smiled, “I’ll see you all in isolation.  Night Cole!”

His snoring was his reply.
